She's looking so sweeties and babydoll here and I like how she and Rusty can, despite it all, have some amicable conversation.

I adore Sheila's showy and cutsey outfits, but it also feels nice seeing her in a snappy suit. I like how she's locked more into business mode in this episode, as opposed to the all-out villainy.

She's so fucking funny for "Lady Au Pair and her Murderous Moppets". I cannot get over how clever and punny she is- especially having been the one to propose the 'regal' note to add alongside Malcom's whole Monarch theme.

Endlessly tickled by the mention of a MAC discount for guild members- I did a little digging, found some old and discontinued early 2000's shades, and found "Impassioned" which seems to be a close match to the pantone they use in earlier seasons. The namesake is awfully fitting for her, too.

I like the showcase this episode gives us- Sheila threatening to slit throats if her husband doesn't get his due engagement, her standing behind Malcolm with her arms crossed like she thinks he's the shit, the way she immediately leaps onto him afterward. It's sweet and I'm happy to see her love and support on display, as always.

I appreciate the moments of mundanity the show gives us, they really are just two cosplayers 4 life sitting and eating a meal together...takes me back to when I'd dress up at conventions. Heart Smiling about this.

Ranni can be so very sweet...she cares about her mommy's safety, with her installation of that Phase 2 Renalla spell you get...and she seems to care a lot about her chosen family- seen by her wishing you to tell Blaidd and Iji that she loves them.

She can be very devious as well. Though Godwyn was due to trying bring her vision into the world, her puppet-ification...? Of Seluvis upon her leaving is personal on a different level. Interesting how both parties perished on their knees, and exist in a pseudo-living state.

Five million things to say about Ranni, but as mentioned before, my favorite part about her is that she's not afraid to reach her goal through horrible means. Extreme means. Regardless of her end being justified by the means or not, I love to see it from her. Cunning and devious, she is. She could stand to do more if she truly wanted.

Rusty is a comforting character for me, in the sense that I can project my own similar experiences and trauma onto whatever the hell he has going on with him. He's also just funny, and makes me laugh a lot. Despite everything, he still has something fulfilling. People in his life that care about him through it all. He still gets to play and have fun. He's got a very hopeful kind of narrative in many facets, I ultimately feel.
